    ski nautique steering adjustment

Back in my slalom days years ago, we shaved the rudder to increase the steering wheel sensitivity. I have recently purchased a 1995 model that needs the adjustment...but I can't remember which side of the rudder to shave to affect the correct adjustment.

    Anybody know for sure?

    Thanks

Filing the left trailing edge of the rudder will make the boat pull left; filing the right trailing edge of the rudder will make the boat pull right. With right hand prop rotation, it's much easier to make it pull left. So I'd suggest the left trailing edge.
