100 Amp Alternator for GT40 help

So I got the 100 amp kit, took the serpentine pulley and spacer off, put the new spacer on and my v belt pulley and the pulley hits the alternator. Seems like the spacer is to small. It is the exact same spacer that was on my old alternator. Does anyone who has installed one know if its supposed to be the same spacer or not?

My boat is at the lake house or I would measure the spacer. If you have not figured it out by the weekend PM me and I will check.

The spacer is actually a little bigger than the stock one, waiting for the guys at Whitelake to give me a call back. Thanks!

Unless the alternator dimensions are different, I would think you could reuse the stock spacer and/or pulley that fit. Pulley spacer?

No the stock spacer is narrower than the one that was sent. It seems I need one that is wider than what was sent to get the pulley off the housing. Talked to a guy at Whitelake this morning and he was going to ask somebody and call me back.

                    bchesley,

Did you use the spacer from the stock alternator on the new alternator? Do you have 2 spacers on the 100 amp alt?

The guy at Whitelake said he talked to PCM and they said to use the spacer from the stock alt. as well as new spacer. The directions that I have dont seem to say that.
