For those of you that keep your boats in the garage, do you support your tower with anything or do you just let it hang over the front of the boat. I have a 2007 220 and the tower doesn't actually fold down on to the boat, because it comes in contact with the legs of the tower and rests on the legs. It's a somewhat small contact point, so I'm wondering if it hanging there all winter will cause any kind of stress on the tower or the legs.
I can't hang it from the ceiling either because we need to be able to use the garage door. If you support it, what kind of support do you use?
