Thanks MilJack. I think the dynamics of the wakeplate and FAE along with the hull dynamics of my 211 make the addition of the FAE to have very little impact on the 211 wake. In any case, there is no way my wife will let me remove the FAE, she says it's the best improvement I have made to the boat. The revolution volume control is her second favorite upgrade...

        Ran out of money... LOL

Seriously, I decided to work on the exhaust and start playing with the ECM programming first. Along my travels I ran into a guy with a Malibu that had a Monsoon 340 that froze then replaced it with a Hammerhead 383. He told me he barely noticed any difference in the power. This got me worried that I might not get what I needed.

At this point I also don't really have the time to dedicate to getting the swap done right. I find myself spending almost every free moment with my twin 9 month old boys. It's a very fun age.

I have a buddy with a Malibu sportster and the 383 hammerhead for barefooting. The boat sounds awesome and you get an easy 49mph out of it.

383 in a sportster, should be renamed dragster... The ligher ski Malibu's run fast, my buddies older Corvette powered Response LXi would top out over 50mph, seemed a little squirly at these speeds too.
