    Perfect Pass not registering speed

I've had my boat out twice in last week. First time out Perfect Pass worked great, no issues. Next time out, the current speed would not register at all. It simply read "0.0". I checked the paddle wheel and it is spinning freely. All connections to the paddle wheel seem to be fine. I switched it over to RPM mode and PP worked fine but RPM mode is not ideal, would rather use speed mode. I've searched other posts on this site and the only troubleshooting tips I can find are "stuck paddle wheel" or "bad electrical" related. If the paddle wheel spins freely and the unit works in RPM mode, any thoughts on what this could be?

Give perfect pass a call. They are great with trouble shooting.

Yep, PP support is excellent. I talked to Mark at PP a few minutes ago. He walked me through a volt meter test of the paddle wheel to at least diagnose the problem. I will give that a shot. Otherwise, the paddle wheel is $127 to replace. I'm still interested if anyone here has had this same issue...

I had the problem but it turned out to be a stuck paddlewheel. PP sent me a new paddle and pin and it solved the problem.
