Zr6 oil leak

I have a 2004 210 with the ZR6 engine. I have had several oil leaks. I have taken it to the dealer for repair and they return saying it is fixed. I am still finding oil in the bilge and when I ask about this they informed me that the 04 ZR6 had a problem with bad oil leaks. Has anyone else had problems like this or even heard about this?

If the above is true about this engine leaking oil is there a comon area that I can check and go ahead and reseal or is pcm or correct craft helping with these issues.

I have owned two ZR-6 engines. Neither one leaked any oil.

The ZR6 in my 05 196 had an oil leak when new. Check the fitting for the oil pan drain hose. Simple fix but in a 196 you had to lift the engine an inch to be able to tighten it. Never had another problem in 350 hours.
What kinds of oil leaks are you having?

The first one was the oring around were the oil filter would have gone except it has the filter relocation kit I assume they all do. The second one that was done the following week was some sensor on the bottom of the engine.

Was the ZR6 even an option for 04?

On some of the early ZR-6 motors they had a leak coming from the block in the back of the motor near where a distributor would have been if it was a old style small block chevy. Have the dealer put a dye in the oil and run it and then check it with a black light.

they offer a zr6 in 196's? i bet that is insane.

Check with Ken at White Lake I had a leak in my 2005 210 with Zr6 Tried all the things PCM suggested and replaced a few fittings all under warranty they sent them to me to change out { my suggestion} none work finally took the boat in and Ken found the problem with PCM help, no more leak Don't remember the problem but wasn't something I could had fix. it was some type of part defect on the under side of the engine,call Ken and ask him about the Mcfarland's yellow 210.

Are you sure its the engine leaking? It could be the v-drive leaking and thats what your seeing in the bilge.

Pretty sure its not the vdrive felt all around and it is dry plus I keep an eye on the levels. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
