    I'll second the Starbrite Mildew Stain Remover (or a little diluted bleach), then wipe with damp rag, followed by 303 protectant. Kinda like using compound to remove oxidation & scratches, then wax to protect.
    Starbrite also makes something called "mildew odor control bags" which supposedly actually kills mildew and other crap that thrives in the damp environment of a boat - there are other similar products, too. In any case it's easier to prevent than to clean off later.
    How 'bout a little reverse action...
