    Any tricks to filling the Walter V-drive with oil

    I just sucked the old oil out of my 02 v-drive and it is a pain putting the new stuff back. Any one have any tricks to filling the v-drive. Because it doesn't vent well, not a lot of oil can be poured in at once. The funnel has to have a small opening to fit inside the filler tube so regular funnels dont work.

      can you use the Pump that was used to suck the oil out? clean it out,put in the new oil and reverse the pumping mechanism to pump it back in.

          Check the owner manual. I thought there was a vent screw or bolt on the top?

              Go get a small funnel meant for kitchen use. You can a set of three teeny ones for like $5. Grab a beer, and you will be done with both projects at about the same time.
