I am having my boat winterized right now at the dealer about 2 hours away. I am just taking it to a local guy that has worked on my friend's cc for a few years and has not done anything wrong yet. Could somebody give me a full list of what I need done before I use the boat again. thanks alot. and should i get a new distributer cap?

RE: summerizing
Connect battery, replace impeller, (dizzy cap if you're the thorough type), manifold plugs, block plugs, any hoses he disconnects (usually off of raw water pump, thermostat housing), check fluids. How 'bout a little reverse action...

RE: summerizing
Why wouldnt all plugs and hoses be put back on after draining? Then all that would need done is to reconnect battery, check fluids (should have been done while winterizing and still be fine unless you see a spill) and go.

Re: RE: summerizing
I'll second that, in the spring your ready to drop it in the water and go. I dont know about the rest of yall, but if those plugs dont make it back onto the block within 10 minutes of draining there is a pretty good chance I'll forget to put them back in....Originally posted by SchwiiingWhy wouldnt all plugs and hoses be put back on after draining?
