Dash Push Button Pod "Lock Up"

2006 SANTE - at the end of the day when draining ballast dash pod stopped working. Lights were on and pumps were running but could not turn any item on or off - it was as if it had froze in its current state. Any item on was on and everything else would not function - the horn for instance. Any Ideas? After turning off main switch and trailering went ahead and tried and all worked fine.

If the function of the buttons is very sporadic and illogical your push button module may be bad. It is tough to tell without a little more information. They can go on the blink where nothing works the way it should, and then work fine for a time or two. Then return to the problems. The modules fail when moisture works its way into them. They are easy to replace but very expensive. Again, this is just an idea. More trouble shooting is needed to have a higher degree of certainty.

This was the first time it happened and the unit worked fine today - Thankfully, if problem does show up again, SECC will be replacing under warranty.

This same thing happened to me last month on an 08 model. Just flipped main switch and reset, hasn't happened again.
