    Perfectpass Install questions

Just ordered Perfect-pass Stargazer for my 2000 Air/Sport Nautique and had a couple install questions.
1)Where are people putting the Master Module?
    2) How to route the wires from the servo to the dash?
3)Where to put the GPS pickup?

Any help, advice, pictures… would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks

My MM is currently on the walkthrough bulkhead under the observer seat. However, when I had an open bow, I mounted it on the walkthrough bulkhead by the driver's feet.

Running the wires turned out to be really tricky. I was told to use the slack in the throttle cable to pull the wire through the bilge up through the deck behind the kick plate. In my case, my throttle cable was zip tied to several things. If you can get your hand on an old throttle cable, you might be able to use that to fish it as well. No easy task doing it that way in my experience though. It's a tight squeeze between the stringer and the floor cooler (at least how my boat is set up).

I mounted the GPS puck just forward up the dash pod and fished the wire through there and down to the MM. Easy as that. There's a picture of my antenna mount at www.easttxskier.com/stargazer.html

I just put Stargazer in a 92SN/CB and my advice is to make sure it's out of the way so feet or gear can't snag the wires but also make sure it is accesible in case you need to disconect or recconect anything. As for the puck, I just placed it on the dash to the front and left of the dash pod. It's worked perfectly in that location.

I was able to use my throttle cable to fish the wires on two installs that I have done. You have to disconect it anway, then tape the wires to it as far as possible in the bilge and push it towards the helm. You should just be able to reach the tape on the cable. Hope it makes sense, it really makes it easy to fish the wires. Another member suggesting using two strong magnets to locate the correct place to drill the hull.

Good luck its not to hard to install.
