I currently have a 3000lb Shorestation lift. I recently purchased a new 220 Team and know the dry weight is 4070. I always unload the boat before putting it on the lift. Do you think 3000 is underrated enough or should I upgrade to a 4000lb lift or bigger? Thanks for the advice.

RE: Boat Lift Question
Along the boat lift theme...
I put my boat on the lift for the first time yesterday (Gotta love Wisconsin Winters!). Last season the electric winch did fine lifting the boat, this spring it is struggling. What kind of preventative maintenance do you need to do to Shore Stations to keep them operating in pristine condition?

RE: Boat Lift Question
3k lbs is severely under rated for that boat. I would step up to a 5k, minimum. Our lifts are rated 3500-4000 for our 196's, and are adequate. Dont forget that the boat weighs quite a bit more than 4k when loaded with fuel, gear and people.1990 Ski Nautique

RE: Boat Lift Question
From the 3000 to the 5000 is there structural changes or is it just in the winch?
