Has anyone every adjusted the black piece on the back of the rudder and what exactly does it do? I have an 08 210 and the starboard side wake is peakier than the port side. It seems like the port side is more rounded at the top and not as steep as the starboard side. Has anyone else noticed this with their 210's (new hull). What would cause this and would the adjustment on the rudder have anything to do with it? I keep the weight and people evenly distributed in the boat so I know that is not my problem. My 07 was the same way. Next time I get out on the water I will post a pic of the wake. Any help would be great.

The black piece you are talking about is a rudder adjustment that wont have much impact on the wake - I believe your wake issue is caused by the prop rotation - rather than evenly distributed weight try slightly uneven weight to balance the wake2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

one side is going to be a little different depending on prop rotation, but each side should be identical at riding length. at 65' you are very close though and it is very noticable. you want to add more weight to whichever side is washed out when you are riding.

I ride at 75' so being to close is not an issue. The wake is not washing out, I am talking about when weighted evenly and boat riding level (not leaning to one side) the starboard side has more ramp and peak than the port side. My old MC was not like this and neither is any of my friends boats (05 210, Malibu V-Ride, MC X2). Iffish133 could you check your rudder adjustment and let me know if it is angled to one side or the other? Thanks.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team

Adjusting the black plastic tab on the rudder will not affect the wake. It will make the steering pull one way or the other, and if you are not driving a straight line, that will affect the wake.
I just tell my passengers to look for the wake with more white on it when the boarder is directly behind the boat, and to move weight to that side.

Iffish133 I don't have any pics of wake around but will get some the next time we get out. It may be a week or so since it is not supposed to get above 65 until the weekend and I have to work all weekend.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team
