    Thank you.

The urethane coating is a product called Monstaliner. Information can be found at monstaliner.com. There are also several forums out there that provide a lot of information about it.

I performed a lot of research on a lot of products and ultimately elected to use Monstaliner because of its durability and the fact that I could use it on all of the different surfaces that I wanted to coat so long as I prepped them correctly (prep to apply it to plastic, fiberglass, metal, etc. differs dramatically). It also has a proven track record in pretty extreme environments, including salt and fresh-water boat floors, truck beds, jeep tubs, vehicle exteriors, roll bars, brush guards, etc. Once dry, it has a nice orange-peel finish and is resistant to most chemicals. It also comes in a lot of colors. I had to get special tint made to match Nautique's "natural" color, but there are a lot of traditional colors available directly from Monstaliner.

I know I sound a bit like a spokesperson for the product. I'm not. It is just a good product that fulfilled all of my needs and expectations. And it is far more durable and far less expensive than gel coat.

"Maybe Zack at N3 still has it?"

I am sure that Zach still has it. A potential problem, I believe, is that the pattern from a 1999 will not exactly match a 1997. If I recall correctly, the 1997 has a squared-off ski locker whereas the 1999 is rounded. That one difference requires changes to at least three Seadek pieces across the middle of the floor. Plus, the 1997 has a playpen bow instead of a walkway. And like I said in the original post, a lot of the pieces were not uniform, appeared to have been cut by hand, and required modification for proper fit, which would lead me to believe that none of the floors will be exactly uniform.

That being said, it seems that it would be close enough that it would pretty easy to order the mylar sheets with the 1999 pattern on them and modify them to fit the exact specs of a particular 1997 given that they are the same basic shape. But I would definitely check with Zach on that before charging ahead.

We as Nautique dealers can order anything. If you call Seadek Directly you will be forwarded along to us. They don't advertise anything Nautique on their open public website. If it's the same boat you know how to get ahold of me . Also, if anyone is curious if it will fit the boat for 15 bucks+ shipping you can get dry fits at your door to verify. Cheap check point for a big investment. I want to thank Jared for being patient with me and Seadek as the end result was totally worth the price of admission.

Now that seadek has the dimensions and such, is it possible for the people who have the same boat to order something similar?

Maybe Zack at N3 still has it?

I thought the 3 piece would break it up a bit. I contoured the edges to the taper of the transom so it should look nice. Just waiting on seadek. Expect 5-6 weeks before we see a finished product.

Do you have any pics? Why was it 3 pieces? It's only 6' x 4" on my transom. I wanted to cover most all the gunnels knowing at some point I would walk on them and I do. I can't complain... It has held up for 10 years with the only noticeable change is about 1/16" shrinkage on all sides from the adhesive backing. Which makes me ask, has anyone noticed Seadek shrinking any over the years? I haven't heard of it, but I seems to be the only one mentioning it with Gatorgrip too.

Jared is the man, All I did was sit behind a desk and send emails ha. Fyi Core, I just did a transom protector 3 piece kit for the back of the 02-06. I have some steps in the work but I don't know if they will be as long as the ones you have. Jared killed it and the look of that boat is now amazing. Completely transformed it from something that looked 90s to something that looks completely current.

Thanks guys...we are VERY pleased with the outcome. Had the boat on the lake this weekend and the entire floor was literally dry within a few minutes when we were finished.

Core-rider--I worked through Zack at N3Boatworks, but the modification of the mylar templates was a breeze. The first blank set was the hardes because I was starting from scratch. After that, I just cut the pattern that Seadek sent me, laid it in the area where it would be installed, taped it into place and drew directly onto the mylar pattern with a black marker. Then I rolled it up and sent it back to Seadek and a few weeks later I would receive an email from Zach with the new CAD. Super easy. It just takes time.

    First off... Great work there!

This comes up at a perfect time as I was pondering looking at getting Seadek to custom make me some gunnel walking pads for my '03 210 to replace some aging Gatorgrip. Actually looked up their mylar template kits earlier. How easy was Seadek to work with when modifying their CAD templates? None of my pieces would be very large as you can see in the pictures. I'm hoping I can look at some of the newer colors and patterns they recently hinted at on FB.
