Trim Tabs For Surfing

I own a 2002 Sport Nautique. I bought it with trim tabs on it but they are not working currently. Is it worth me investigating the problem or do they not help for surfing? I'd like to get them working for wakeboarding maybe? Just not sure how they will help the whole cause and the benefits to their function? Thanks for any help! First post! lol

Probably would help yourself a lot to go ahead and post some pictures of your “tabs” to see what your working with.

My guess is those would help the wave, how much is really hard to say. Those systems are not complex. Just figure out who made the actuators and see if you can find out how they are powered.
