  • 2014 210 Pro Ballast

Hi All, we just purchased out new to us 2014 210, and I'm looking to get this dialed in over the winter. It has the pro ballast, and when I went in to look at the bag to possible change out to larger, I see that they are already Wakemakers bags. Are these the standard ones on the pro ballast option? Also, for doing a bow sac that is piggy backed to the center tank, how difficult is that to add in. I'm a relatively handy DIYer, so can probably handle most items. Thanks much.

How big are the bags? You can probably get close to an added 1000 lbs in each side if you max out every cubic inch. You may need to reinforce the engine compartment partitions. I have 570 lbs Wakemaker bags piggy backed in my 2015 and they are only 10" high.

Have not looked at adding weight to the front (except about 80 lbs of anchors). The bow on the 210 is very low - I would worry about swamping it if you start adding weight up there. Mine has a sticker limiting passengers in the front to 275 lbs or something

I would think piggy back in the front would be pretty easy. The vent/overflow hose from the belly tank runs up under the starboard gunwale. Seems like it could be tapped into to add a front bag.

When the rear bags are full they go right up to the bottom of the storage shelves. I had read that the 650lb bags would work nice, just wondering if the previous owner already did that, as they are labeled from Wakemakers.

We have the factory bags for pro ballast in the rear lockers and the 1100 bag under the front seats. The wave is pretty good. You pipe the bow bag to the vent of the belly tank and the vent of the bag goes to the overboard vent port.

The factory pro ballast would not be labeled with Wakemakers logos.

Thats what I figured. Is there a way to determine the size of the bags that I have? Probably not necessary, but just curious.

As for the piggyback, sounds easy enough. guessing the floor comes up relatively easy?

piggy back is real easy and wakemakers gives good directions with it. Theres a removeable panel on in the bow seat towards the drivers seat. This will gain you access to the belly tank. Can also remove the seat back to give you more access(pops out). I have a a 550 arrow sac in my bow and it cant fill all the way so its maxed out. I fill it to max for wakeboarding and 1/2 for surfing. have 750s plumbed in the rear

Do I need to do anything to the Linc so that it knows that there is extra space to fill?

just have to hit fill twice. I wish you could adjust the timers but you cant

Your boat may have a dealer setting for "Quagga" filter that will increase the pump time. The lbs calculation may not be real accurate since it is presuming the pumps are flowing slower, not filling larger bags.
