Weighting a 93 CC Sport Nautique

My birthday is next month, and my wife wants to give me some ballast bags for it. As you all know the Sport is a DD, so what ballast bag combo is the best for it. Just to let you all know what I'm thinking: I'd like to put one bag longways between the engine box and the back seat, and I'd also like to put one in the ski locker. About how many pounds should I run, and what configuration should I use? Thanks!

I would say about 600 or 700 in the back and however big of a sack you can get in the ski locker (maybe 500). That will produce a nice soild wake.

Do you have any recommendations on which brand and dimensions?

Im not real sure on the dimensions of your ski locker. But Fly High makes a nice fat sack. But all of them will work.

Get the pro X series. They are so easy to use. Coverless ballast bags are one of those inventions like fire, sliced bread, etc......

I have a 94 Sport and just put a semi auto ballast system in. I put in 2 of these: http://www.wakeside.com/product/boat...es+tube+sac.do I put one between the seat and engine hump and one in the ski locker. I fill the rear one up completely and the one in the ski locker about 2/3. It adds a nice pop with only 2 people in the boat. I've only used the system once (put it in at xmas), but I think it be nice during the summer.

Thanks for the info guys! I'll look into all the options and let you know how it works out. Incidentally the wife saw a v-drive configuration yesterday and my want a v-drive. No complaints here, although I don't yet know which I'll pursue more, wakeboarding or slalom. What a wonderful problem to have, though!
