    MC Tower Problem

Last year while finalizing our choice of boat (MC X2, SV211), our Nautique salesman advised that the 07 MC towers weren't very sturdy. Certainly, when you shook both towers, the MC tower flexed a lot more than the Nautique tower, but we thought that with a component as basic/important/visible as a tower and with MC's many years of prior history on tower deisgn, MC would get the tower right. Well apparently they didn't!!

See this thread on TMCOwners: http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/sh...ad.php?t=19193

and this very grainy/bad video, but which shows how had the problem is:

Its also the same tower design for 2008 apparently!

Needless to say, we're glad we chose the 211.

    Cheers!

    RE: MC Tower Problem

Very interesting. I like that you have to contact MC to have the warranty work approved by the dealers? If I have a problem with the Denali, I don't call GM and ask them to send my dealership the parts to fix it. That's the whole point of a dealership, to act as the face to the customer. Very strange way of doing warranty work indeed.
    How about \"Chales\"?
