TSC 2 / 3 hull

The '07 literature says the 196 has the TSC3 hull. However, every new '07 that I looked at this past weekend has the TSC2 decal. What gives?

I guess we should start with.. is there a TSC3 decal? May be a stupid question, but since this hull is a tweaked TSC2 there might not be much distinction in the advertising.

Also, the sport/air hull from the late 90s had the TSC decal with IMO a significantly stretched version of that hull.

I'll let you all know tomorow. I'm picking up my new 07 196 from SECC.

The lifting strakes were removed from the hull, but that's it.

I don't know fellas, I was just looking at an 07 brochure, and in the back it had the TSC3 logo, and it was clearly a 3. Hmmmm... (rubs chin while smoke exits ears).........I'll take that bet Greg. Uno dollar says it says TSC3. If..uh...when I have proof tomorrow, I'll expect the dollar ASAP!!!!

All I know is I looked at 3 new '07s this past weekend and they all had the TSC2 decal. I made it a point to check too, b/c the brochure clearly stated TSC3.

I believe ya!! Mine was built this month, according to the guys at SECC, so who knows. If it does in fact say TSC2, I'll photoshop a 3 in there budro. A buck is a buck!! Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

I do not know for sure, but if it has the hydro gate, it is a 3 and if not it is a 2.

the first one I saw had the gate, and the TSC2 decal. the other two had no gate, and the TSC2 decal as well.

Saw a 196 at the dealer and it had a TSC2 sticker on the right side and a TSC3 sticker on the left side of the boat. It also had the hydro gate.
