I had heard that Andy wasn't sponsored by CC by another pro skier, so obviously I had mis-information, and should have checked my resource. I am really sorry about that, and would never want to pass along bad info!

Well, technically I think you're probably right Todda. Sponsorship would imply that CC supports Andy in professional tournaments. Pay for travel, pay entry fees, provide a boat, etc. I doubt they are doing that any longer because he's not skiing the circuit. For the top level pros, it goes beyond sponsorship and they get paid a contract as well. Of course this means they must do promotions, etc. in return.

However, at least at one time, Andy carried the title of consultant and product manager. That would imply that he receives a retainer, professional fees, or salary for his services to CC. In other words, he is either an employee or contractor to the company. I suspect he still fulfills this role in some capacity. BKH

Thus far, with the INfamous PN rumor-mill still in HIGH gear ("high" being either synonymous with full speed or a pharmacutical state-of-mind; see "60s"), I know 2 facts from this thread:

            1. "skinautique" KNOWS EVERYTHING! Is this guy a Meloon or what!? Uh,oh, could he be Terry McNew?
            2. the phrase "slap in the b*lls" still causes men to whence after all these years!
            HAPPY NEW YEAR PN PEOPLE!
