    2004 correct craft 226 won't start

    Hello,
I am having and issue with my 2004 226 with the excalibur 330 5.7. The last 3 times I have taken it out it has ran great. Took it out today, ran good for a few hours then all of a sudden it started misfiring pretty bad in idle. in higher rpm it ran smoother but could still tell it was misfiring. went back to load up on the trailer and the boat died, would not restart. finally got it back on the trailer and took it back to storage, tried to start but just cranks, all fluids check ok but have not checked fuel for possible contamination. thought it could be out of gas and dont trust the gauge so I threw in 50 bucks worth but issue persists. maybe fuel system is airlock from low fuel? I dont have a reader to check for codes so don't really know where to start. Has anyone had similar issues? Any ideas would be great!

Fuel injection is maintained at pressure & recircs back to tank so doesn't airlock.

Idle misfire is lower voltage tends to point to ignition. I would check the distributor condition.

Fuel supply, low flow will idle OK but then die off when more fuel is required. However a failed fuel system, no pressure will sputter and die eventually.

Need to figure if it is spark or fuel. I can usually tell by how it behaves and sound etc.
