Hello,
I need a little help from some one, please.
Long story short, I developed a leak where the water pickup hose passes through the transom. I removed the hardware, including the nut that binds the hose to the pickup and placed it on the swim platform. The repair was no big deal, but I didn't attach the hose right away thinking I would let it cure a few days first. I towed the boat to the lake, dipped it in and checked my work, problem solved. Towed back home and that's when it hit me, where's that little nut!
I know it's not a big deal, I can use a small zip tie or twist wire on it, convert to GPS, etc. The boat is 26 years old, I'm the original owner and I try my best to keep it as original as possible. I tried to source a replacement, but could not locate one. I even looked at complete gauge install kits, they just don't make it anymore. The part looks like a 1/4" hose compression nut or something, but the few I tried have larger thread and won't grab the hose.
Anyway, if anyone has the nut in the picture below I will pay handsomely for it. Maybe someone who converted to GPS or one hanging from a chain in their rear view mirror, junk drawer, somewhere :-(

Thanks for your time.
Scott
