    Gs22 Thruster or not?

    Iv got a GS22 on order and am undecided if need the thruster. Dost anyone have any recommendations if i should add it?

    You're going to get all KINDS of answers on this.

    In short, you WILL use it. Way more than you would ever believe. And once you start using it, you'll be glad you optioned it. When it comes to resale, it'll make your boat much more marketable.

      I would absolutely spring for the thruster. Have one on our 2023 S21, had considered a few boats without one. Zero chance I would buy a surf boat with an inboard engine without one ever again. Worth every penny. Says nothing about your ability to captain the boat. Adds safety, speeds up picking up fallen riders, easier to dock etc. Faste,r safer, less stressful days. You are buying a boat for more than most of our first homes. Get the thruster.

        We didn't have a thruster on our '16 G. That was a strong item on the punch list must have for our current boat. We use it so much that I'm sure it will be in for warranty service more than once. Especially useful when trailering or docking and any sort of breeze or cross wind, trailering has become a joy instead of a burden.
