    1998 sport questions

I am purchasing a 1998 sport nautique with a factory flight control tower - does anyone have pictures of the boat with the tower folded? I was wondering if it will fit under a standard 7' garage door.

I am coming form a 1989 ski supreme and was wondering if this is the boat for me. I have 2 kids 8&11 years old who love to wake board off the supreme. Wll the sport have a simular wake?

If it is one of the first gen FCT it will not fit while folded. You will need to remove the tower entirely to get it inside. It will require removing (2) additional bolts after the 4 on the rear legs.
With the first Gen (98-99) the entire tower folds at the front mounts while the second Gen (2000 and beyond) folds from the fixed legs. Either one the folded heights varies a bit with trailers, IRC Gen 1 is around 7'-6" folded and Gen 2 is very close to 7'-0".

As far as Wakeboaring, I had a 99' Air with the TSC hull, it was a decent boat all around, probably would fall in the crossover category by today's standards. Assuming the boat does not have ballast the trunk is big and can be used for some sac's or whatnot which should enhance the wake.
