which would you buy?

Hi all, looking for some advice pros cons.

I am deciding between the following 2 boats:

Both dealer maintained, both used as charter boats both everything working or will be fixed.

$70K - 2015 G25 700 hours interior 8 no rips, stains, exterior 5 need gelcoat repair for scratches, etc. factoring about 10K
$100K - 2019 G25 1000 hours interior 5 lots of fading on seats figuring about 5K to replace them, exterior 8 - good wet sanding 5k should bring it back to life, has thruster, foldable tower and stock enhancements over 2015

if you had to choose,which would you buy and how much would you pay?

I would say your interior vinyl estimate is WAY low. I would at least double that.

Thanks, good to know. Still Struggling to determine whether the 2019 is worth $30K more given it has 300 more hours?

I'm with Jeff on the interior. You really want to get some estimates from the dealer on replacing all those cushions before deciding on either. On boats with 700+ hours I would expect the foam to be in about the same condition as the vinyl. Here in Michigan boat interiors for a larger wake boat can easily go to $15K and up depending on just how bad the old interior is and to what level you want it restored.

Condition is everything with used boats but the newer surf ships with all their computers and associated electrical infrastructure makes verifying condition of these systems critical. Displays can easily cost upwards of $8K a piece and labor to diagnose electrical issues will get expensive quick. I would highly recommend a full inspection from a dealer on any boat you decide on before you purchase. I would also want any items you mention that will be fixed to be completed before taking delivery. I've seen wayyyyy tooooo many posts/stories of sellers and even dealers that have not coming through on promised repairs even on new boats to leave anything to chance.

Then again, I could be completely wrong about all of this.....
