Is the new G hull exactly the same as the Paragon? Going thru the specs I noticed the draft of the Paragon is longer. Many tks

Not sure, but I see they add the throw pillows to the G like they did for the Paragon.

Wish I could pick up some for my GS but my dealer said they cant sell them to you unless you have a G or Paragon.

I was planning on upgrading from my 2021 when the new G came out, then I built and priced one. Not gonna happen.

So about a year ago when the new Paragon was announced our dealer let us know and we went and test rode one. Honestly it wasn't *that* much better than our 2021 P23 ESPECIALLY with the price hikes and the interest rate doubling (even though we do about 50% down) so we couldn't justify it. Is it awesome? YES, we LOVED it! That said, it's really not THAT much different especially considering the massive price increase.

bird_dog....Yep. I hear what you are saying. I test drove the new P23. Yes...it does look cool...the interior was pretty sweet...BUT....I was disappointed in the 630 HP over my 2021 G23 with the 450. Just did not have the punch I thought it would. Also...full ballast, the wave pretty much looked like mine with our normal crew of 10 or so. It all boils down to our boat can do everything that P23 can do...but for MORE than 200K thousand less. It's crazy. Would I like the "New Hull" G23...or a P23...Yes. But man, that price tag stings.

MSRP was $352k (with the ZZ8 but no actuated tower), and that doesn’t include a trailer. Add the currency conversion to CAD and I bet a new G23 will be north of 4 for us Canadians. Absolutely not happening.

I don't know that the hull it's self is actually new, at least not the running surface. I watched the videos on it and everything and I don't recall ever hearing or seeing them point out where they changed the running surface, looks the same to me.

Yeah....you are probably correct. When I said "New Hull" I just meant the new bow shape...Which the Paragon got for this year. Running surface is probably the same. But man....those pillows!!!!!!
