The newly formed wake task force gears to crank up as the season begins. This task force was formed after a lengthy battle over a proposed No Wakesurf zone which was successfully denied last year on Smith Mountain Lake. It will be interesting how this organization plays out and whether other lakes will use it as a role model for their own future wake task force groups.
