Adding cupholder to 2011 SAN 230 at observers seat

Has anyone added a cupholder on their 230? I bought a cupholder and before diving too deep in making a hole, was curious if you guys have done this.

All that is, is plastic about 1/8" thick if that. be careful if you drill as that plastic tends to get brittle and can splinter or break across the whole piece.

Cover area w masking tape to help reduce chipping.

I also add 5” dryer vent clamp underneath so the cup holder doesn't blow out.

Thanks guys, was more asking: Has anyone done this on a 230 before? The cross section at the Vacuum Formed part to the inner lamination of the hull seems close.
