Softmax or TrueWave??

Hey

Buying my first Nautique, have had several Malibu's and now it's time to try a Nautique, Picking up a 2022 G25.

I'm trying to figure out the difference between Softmax and Trueweave, my dealer does not have any boats in stock to show me the difference, what I'm told is the softmax is more like a vinyl and the trueweave is more like a textured cloth... does anyone have photos of the two or any help making the decision?

your dealer should have a small swatch for all of the materials. all dealers get them. they are right on the decription, trueweave is a cloth

i prefer the softmax, its like a dot patterned texture. where the trueweave reminds me of Tweed....

i prefer the vinyl like properties of the softmax but not a fan of the dot pattern… like the look of the trueweave but worry about the material being rough

The trueweave is awesome! It’s not cloth and it does not hold water at all. Our boat has the Mojave brown seats with the Mojave trueweave and they look great togeather because the trueweave is actually a couple of shades lighter than the seats. The closest thing I can compare it to is like the woven vinyl flooring you see on newer pontoon boats but way nicer! We are definitely glad we got it on out boat!

Well, that's conflicting opinions, my dealer told me that the softmax is much more durable than the trueweave, any experience there?

I personally liked the Mojave trueweave in my 2021. No problems with durability and liked how it looked against the Mocha non skid. Enough so much I ordered it again in a 2022.

I was told that they’re both vinyl, just a different finish or texture.
I assume both are very durable.

Personally...IMO....I hate the TrueWeave and love the Softmax....especially in Anthracite. The Trueweave looks and feels like the brown chair from grandma's house in 1973......LOL
