Where are all the boats?

We sold our Nautique 230 this summer, hoping to find a used (2018 or newer) 230 or gs24. Little did I know the availability on those boats would be extremely limited. However, I see copious amounts of Gs out there. Did Nautique increase the production of the G boats at the detriment of other models? Just wondering if this is common/typical, or are people just keeping their 230s and GSs longer?

Lots of people want the newly-designed 2021 G boats, so that's why you see lots of pre-2021 used ones for sale right now.

I might add that it has not yet translated in part to decreased prices for older G boats, at least in my research.

I also would be willing to bet that G boats have outsold 230/210 and GS boats 5:1. So naturally there would be more of them. I suspect Jeff might know those numbers, but it would not surprise me if G is by far the dominant boat made by Nautique.

There is 3 2020 G23s listed for sale at Dockside Marine in Houston Texas for 179k each....

With what I see browsing listings it seems like that is the case. It's kind of surprising to me given the prices.

the other dynamic at play is the incredible momentum in the market. We put our 2015 230 on the market, and ended up selling it in less than 24 hours at 15% over our asking price with multiple offers.

Yeah...we had three cash offers on our 2012 230 all at the same time...and it was basically..."who can get here quickest." But now I'm on the other side...looking for my next boat.
