Yeah...I hear you...but a couple of points to make on this. I have a lakehouse...so i'm not on the water all day. My routine now is...when I surf...the boards are only out when everyone is surfing...then they go back in the port trunk....very little sun exposure. I imagine it would be the same if I got the surf pockets...which I don't have now. I would stick a board up there when the other was being used...but they would all go back in the trunk when we are finished. And I do have 4 Phase 5 boards that weren't cheapies. And no problem being a little anal about keeping your stuff nice....but I don't know if I'd go as far as a knit cover....LOL. I do keep baby wipes on board....just in case.....

Opinions on colors can vary wildly so take my opinion with a grain of salt. To put that bold of a color on the upholstery, I’d have to have it somewhere on the outside of the boat. Every time I’m used boat shopping and I see examples like yours, I always keep scrolling. Again, as long as you and your family are happy...that’s all that matters.

buzzardmountain - I understand your point of view, and appreciate the perspective. The challenge is that the three areas of color are actually fairly strangely shaped - and it is difficult to put together a coherent exterior. I actually worked with the head of design at Bang & Olufsen for several days to arrive at this. The former hull and choices were a lot more aesthetically flexible and it was easier to create a number of attractive combinations. On the 2021, we had one grey/red combo that I liked a lot - but the kids vetoed red. Our current boat has reef blue interior highlights (and a reef blue flash on black hull) and the kids wanted to carry that color forward. This entire process is a series of compromises!
