Does anyone know if the new Fenix 6 models work in addition to the 5 models? They aren't mentioned as compatible, but didn't know if it was "at least" a 5 or only a 5.

Support for the Fenix 6 has NOT been announced. I just looked on the Garmin App store and the NSS app is still listed as compatible with the 5 series only.

I'd like to know this as well. I will buy a watch and a GoPro for the new boat I have coming. Forum members have been saying to get the Go Pro Hero 8 Black for that half of the equation; I just want to know if anyone has tried any of the Garmin pieces for wave control yet, and if the Fenix 6 is an option as well, which I'm assuming it is...

I have the GoPro hero 8 that worked with my G23. I just got the fenix 5 to test. I’ll set it up at the end of feb when my boat comes in if I can find the app in the garmin Iq App. Right now I can find it with a google search but it won’t show up in the app to download.

Pulled the trigger on a Fenix 5S plus sapphire. Have used it on a few training runs and it is amazing. The functionality in this watch is incredible. The fact that it works with my G23 is icing on the cake. If any of you are considering the watch for training purposes don't hesitate.

Have you used the app? I talked to someone yesterday that said it will be released again in January. I still couldn’t download it.

I haven't used it (as it is winter where I live) but I downloaded it to the watch and it appears to be functioning perfectly. I can scroll through all the menus and the controls work fine. I would imagine it is as simple as syncing it with the updated module on my G23. Will be months before I can formally test it. One caveat: I have an android phone. Not sure if that matters.

That might be it. I can’t find it I’m the garmin IQ store but I am on an iPhone. Thanks. I’ll be testing In March if the new boat is ready by then.
