Shore Boat Lift

I was wondering if anyone has built or figured out a good way to get your boat off the trailer on land. I want to do some work on my trailer, and don;t have a place to dock the boat for an extended period of time. I also would like to wet sand and polish the underside of the boat while its off. I have googled it, but didn't really like what i saw. i have an 05 SANTE, so not the heaviest boat out there.

If anyone has any suggestions or experience they would be willing to share, it would be much appreciated.

That there is not for the faint of heart. The only one I was a part of was on a (I think) 77 Correct Craft Mustang. We used 2 floor jacks on the back and a come along attached to a support beam in a friends garage but that was a much smaller and lighter boat. I was about 23 at the time and was still freaked out by it. Probably one of the stupider things I can think of that I've done. Well that and working underneath it.

Yeah, that video didn't give me much hope. I have a friend with a pole barn that I was going to try and do the jacks in the back, and a lift point in the front, but I'm a little worried about doing that. I was hoping someone here has done something similar that would be safe for me, and the boat. The being 3500 or so pounds should be to hard to do, but that wight hitting the concrete or me would be BAD.

Maybe i have to see if there is a local marina that would let me use their lift.
