Color matched nss covers whathca think?

I just hate how the NSS covers dont match the hull unless you order black or white hulls. Well this time I went with Reef blue on the hull and the covers stuck out like a sore thumb so this time I color matched them to the hull, what do guys think? I think Nautique should start doing this so they look more "integrated".

We actually do custom automotive work so our paint supplier has a digital camera for matching colors.

You should offer this as a service here on PN. Have people send in their covers for color match. Not exactly sure how you'd sample the color of their boat unless you have access to a bunch of boats...

Is the color scanner portable? I wonder if you could take it over to a dealership and scan in the boats they have. As boats come through, you build up a library of available colors. Would that work?

I have the color mixup if you wanna do it, its crazy easy. The NSS emblems are only double sided and then all you have to do is scuff and paint, any body shops in the world can handle.

It would be that easy but the tech is from the paint company not my company, if I knew how to work the machine it would be game over.

Looks pretty cool. Nautique might make that an option in 2020. I'm sure they wouldn't charge more than $2k for the upgrade.

I am sure your local dealer has gel samples. Bring the samples to your shop instead of bringing the camera to the dealer
