Main differences between early to mid 2k models

    Hi,

I'm in the market for an early to mid 2000's Nautique. Clearly I'm thinking SAN but then stumbled upon a 2003 226 Air Nautique. Different body layout. Looks interesting, certainly more comfortable for the fam but what would I be giving up VS the other hull types/ setups etc?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Look at all the brochures and manuals located at the top of the page. That will help you a lot to see the differences between all those boats.

You can dig into the specifics in the brochure like wake_fun said, but long story short if you are looking for the best wake stick with the true Super Air 210 or 230. If you are more concerned about family fit and you want to do a little bit of everything go for the 226 if you can get a good deal on one. The 210s and 230s are what will pull a premium and also hold their value better.

My recommendation is to test drive it, lots of good things have been said about the 2003 226, if it will fit your family's needs I wouldn't hesitate. What are your plans for activities with the boat?

Thank you!.... well after much looking I'm torn betw a 2008 SANTE 210 and a 2010 SAN (not yet sure about the TE) What major differences did the 2010's bring vs the 2008? Thanks one more time. J

When you decide on the model you want, make a solid attempt to acquire one with the upgraded engine package. The ZR6, ZR390 or ZR409 are the upgraded engines in the year range you are considering. Once you load those boats up with people, equipment and ballast, you will appreciate the added HP and torque. The closed cooling systems are a plus too!
