I ordered silver domed registration numbers and just installed them this weekend and love how they look. I first compounded and polished the whole boat....then installed (after acetone wipe of the area)....then waxed entire boat.

Great news, Dome Numbers has been permitted to start selling the dome lettering overlays again. I just purchased a set for my boat today. Here is the link

Could you order direct. I heard they only got permission to sell to Nautique dealers.Originally posted by GMLIIIGreat news, Dome Numbers has been permitted to start selling the dome lettering overlays again. I just purchased a set for my boat today. Here is the link

I realized I quoted myself above, but I wanted folks to see what these Dome Overlays looked like before they have been applied to the boat. Each letter is individually applied. I took the adhesive tape off one letter so everyone could see what they looked like before application. The color I ordered was Nautique Midnight Blue.. Although I have already applied the Dome Overlay over my stern logo, I was reluctant to do the sides of the boat for fear of the durability overtime with fading and rubbing boat bumpers. Anyway I like the look and was afraid if I didn't purchase them now that Nautique may prevent Dome Numbers from selling them in the future, if they ever decided to offer Chromax Lettering to match any and all boat colors which would cost substantially more for the end user. I will report back after boat application.Originally posted by GMLIII View PostGreat news, Dome Numbers has been permitted to start selling the dome lettering overlays again.
