In Northern IL or Southern WI?

Anyone else in Northern IL or Southern WI? This flooding and rain is killing me!!

Just bought my first Nautique (2003 206 air, direct drive) after 20 years of waiting and now everything is closed?!!

Doing some projects I intended for winter. New speakers, adding winch to ramlin trailer, waxing and detailing.

Killing me! I took out ONE day and got it 2 weeks ago!!!

The Illinois river is open I am at Starved rock. It is generaly like glass in the morning. River is only a few inches above normal here. I prefer to spend the $10 to launch at the marina out of the current.

Just hold on it's coming your way. The Fox in Algonquin is 3+ feet over normal and it rained again last night. More rain is on the way before Sunday. Never in my 60+ years here has it ever been this high. Here are some before and after pictures, the after was last Sunday.Everything from Milwaukee south is heading down on the Fox and Des Plaines. Boat would have been fine there since it could get up higher but we are headed to Tennessee .

I've lived on the lower fox 35 years. This is about the worst I've seen it. Sounds like paddock or some other nearby lake is going to have to happen. Starved Rock area is FAR from me! Thanks for the info.

I am on Deep Lake in Lake Villa, first time in my 20 years here the association has imposed a no wake, the lake was the highest I have ever seen it. I had to raise my entire pier about a foot after the storm last week as it was starting to float.

Shoreline should be about 2 feet back from where my pier starts

Pack it up and come on down to Lake Lanier Georgia. Mid to upper 80s water temp and I will throw in free accommodations 1/10 of a mile to the ramp.

Chris, how is the level now? I'm hoping to ski on Thursday, and Will avoid the Northeast end of Deep Lake.

Aha--I see the no-wake is lifted. Hopefully no more 3-5" rains coming soon!
