No shoes on any boats.

I always ask guests to take off shoes. Train your family and frequent guests to take of shoes and quietly/politely remind people who 'forget'. My Dad is the only person to wear shoes on my boat. He is old school and I want him with us bad enough to keep quiet.

No shoes on my boat. And I ask people to please step on the Seadek instead of the seats, that's what its there for. The seats are for sitting, not for standing.2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV, 1995 Cobalt 200

No shoes and I've mentioned this before, absolutely NO SPRAY SUNSCREEN. Put an extra bottle of lotion on your boat in case someone forgets. Spray sunscreen will stain your seats! Not to mention it makes a mess to clean up.

All....I have ONE crazy story as a follow-up to this post. First...I'm on my 4th Nautique...and on every one I've never really been a shoe Nazi.....unless you where wearing hiking boots or softball cleats. These interiors are **** tough and clean pretty easily. Usually everyone that is at the lake is wearing sandals anyway...and leaves them on the dock....but...on to my crazy story. Anyone remember the Seinfield episode where Jerry's BMW gets B.O.'d when the valet parks the car???? Of course some of you do. About 2 months ago my G21 was in the shop...great dealer by the way...since day one. They were doing some stereo work on my boat. I went in to pick it up on a Saturday, went home to pick up my daughter and a friend and take it to the lake. When I got to the lake and went to load some stuff in the boat before I backed in down my own ramp, I noticed the platform smelled REALLY bad when I walk up to it....like stinky feet BAD...I've lived with my fee for 52 years and dammit Jimmy...this smell did not come from my feet or anyone in my family. I called he girls over the "smell" the "smell"....and sure enough....there were both like "Holy ****.....that stinks like BAD feet. But...get this guys...it wasn't just the platform.....they B.O.'d...or should I say F.O.'d my entire SeaDek where they walked "barefoot" or in sweaty socks I presume. I knew the INSTANT what had happened when I smelled the floor...and it was pretty bad. Boat was clean and non-stinky when I brought it in...I know 100% for a fact for sure. If you knew me...you know how I keep my boat. So I called my good friend/salesman and told him what I found. He starts saying...blah.blah...must be the water they used to clean the boat...must be the cleaner...blah blah....I said STOP....did the cleaning guys take their shoes off to clean the boat...he says yes...they always do. So I say....It's 100 degree back in your shop....these guys are in and out of my boat with sweaty socks....STINKING up my SeaDek. PLEASE do me a favor I ask him...next time, tell them to leave their shoes ON...and I'll clean up any and every mark they leave. I spent the next HOUR.....maybe more...scrubbing the crap out of that SeaDek with some Dawn detergent and a brush and hose. It did get all of the feet smell out that I DID NOT PUT THERE....and actually smelled pretty **** good after the floor bath. So...to come full circle after the Seinfield episode years ago....my G21 got F.O.'d by my valet.....LOL. So.....some of you guys above that are SO adamant about no shoes....you might want to take that on a shoe by shoe basis.......Later.....Jerry...I mean Ken....
