The 2019 could be right (model year anyway), but the lighter and classic looking part is not correct from what I've heard. We'll see I suppose

I almost crapped my self when I called the dealer and the told me the price of there average g23 was going up 15-20k usd. Not sure if it is true or are they just trying to scare people into buying 2017s ? I wounder if it will ever back fire on them? I

The price sheet has been released, and your dealer would have it. I compared a 2018 spec to my loaded 2017, and it was more like 4K difference..... a "15-20k" statement from a dealer, sounds like a statement made to sell leftover inventory to me..... could be wrong about that though. Nonetheless, the price change was definitely not even close to that.

If they really need bow-and-or-stern thrusters they ought to just bite the bullet and roll with twin screws.

Edit: and on the big Sea Rays with the Zeus pod drive, you can move a 50 footer sideways or any direction or spin it in a circle with the joy stick.

Yes, but pods can rotate to vector the thrust in opposite directions to induce sideways motion. An inboard does not have that option. And we won't see twin engines in a Nautique any time soon. It makes no sense to double fuel consumption for increased mobility. A single pod might be interesting but it would require a complete rethinking of how to trailer. Bow/stern thrusters are possibly the only viable option.

4K price increase would indicate approximately a 2% price increase which seem right with me. Almost reasonable considering upgrades to standard features like the strapless board racks etc.

Have heard some #'s as high as a 4-5% increase on MSRP for G23............

To make an apple to apple comparison, you should compare last year base model price + options that are now standard this year to this year base model price.

If the difference is higher than the inflation, you can call Nautique with dirty words otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Yes and no, unless your dealer gives you more discount over the year to compensate for increase in MSRP, the MSRP price is a good reference to see if your price negotiated will increase or not.

Of all the possibilities, this one is the most exciting to me as well. REALLY hoping this is true, and that Nautique will shortly do a PN substitute for the new head unit. I have had nothing but trouble with the Polk unit in our '16, and/or how it interfaces with the LINC system. Was going to take it in and have them look to warranty replace it, but now I may wait for some firmer news on this.

I think that Nautique has built an amazing boat with the G-series, and I am definitely a fanboy, but finicky stereo issues often overshadow a great day on the water for everyone on board.

There were some communication issues between the LINC and the head unit that have since been fixed with updates. Just make sure you have the most current update.

Thanks for the quick reply. The attached file - what exactly is that? Is that something you can flash the system with (perhaps thru a USB device)?

I can confirm 100% the GS24 is available for 2018.
