However, I successfully got both Pebbles to upgraded to version 2.9.1 and the Old Pebble app onto my iPhone. In trying to put the Nautique NSS Pebble app into the Pebble app "locker" on the iPhone--it won't work; just keep getting the three spinning dots. I've tried this on my iPhone and my wife's iPhone--same thing on both; three spinning dots that go on and on. Even tried opening a second Pebble account in her name (as someone here also previously mentioned that they ended up needing to do that.)

Seems like from the experiences of others on here that I'm at the point that I need to get the Pebble app on a Droid and then try get the Nautique NSS Pebble app onto the watch(es) that way.

In the description of the Nautique NSS App on the Old Pebble iPhone app there is a note at the end that reads "***If your Nautique boat is equipped with a Surf Select 1.0 module do not update your Pebble to anything newer than firmware v2.9.1 as this will cause connectivity issues***"

Based on that--seems like the 2016s should work with that version of the firmware.

Wondering if anyone can verify that they've made it work on a 2016 with v2.9.1?

    Thanks.
I can verify that v2.9.1 firmware does work with my 2016 G23. I could not get the app to load on my Apple 6s but was successful using an old android I had laying around. I was able to load the app, and update the Pebble Classic watch with no problems once I used my Android device. I bought a spare Pebble Classic as as back-up. The process was definitely harder than it should have been.

Yes good to have a couple of back up watches because you know soon one of them will be on the bottom of the lake

OK, there is no way that Nautique can put out any new marketing videos or ads using the Pebble watch as a feature, right? They must have a plan by now? No one knows the direction they've decided on? No one? Even a proprietary wrist band like the others would be better than mentioning Pebble again...yes?

The most info I have found thus far is listed on this forum under 2016 manuals on the Pebble watch interface and set up

Nautique has been very quiet about this. I know from talking to the customer service reps at a couple of boat shows that they are working on something but there are no details on it at all right now.

Getting the Pebble to work isn't exactly seamless but it does work. I find that I'm putting it on pretty much every time I surf now. It's just so nice to be able to bump the speed or NSS a touch from behind the boat....

Quiet in releasing a new plan is one thing but I think they also need to be drop references to the Pebble at this point too. It's simply not available any more and there it is listed and shown as a highlight feature on the new GS22. If I were a new customer not knowing any better, I can't imagine my thoughts when I found out this awesome boat company has chosen to go with a smart watch that isn't even available to purchase any more?

I love Nautique and this isn't even an issue for me with my 2015 210 but I really want them to nail this issue down and do it with a superior approach to the other brands. An innovative forward thinking move that takes them a step further above the others.

I can verify that the Pebble works with my 2016 G23. You could read back on here to see what I did--sorry but don't really have to time to try figure it out again; process was a little clunky, but I did it w/o having the boat and w a friend's android; and it paired itself to the boat no problem the first time I tried it. In fact--salesman never did get the included blue remote to pair on the "inservice tour"--and I never tried the blue remote once the Pebble paired itself.

I'm not a surfer yet--but have used it to control the volume on the sound system and control the speed while driving. Also pretty sure it also changed the surf side.

                Good luck!

[Edit: sorry--read that wrong; thought he said his does NOT work...]

Just a FYI, the 2017 G21 does not support ballast shift as far as I can see on the Pebble watch classic.

Would be nice if Nautiques would be compatible with both Pebble and Garmin brands since at some point the Nautique Pebble watch users will have migrate to Garmin at some point since Pebble watches are no longer available other than on the secondary markets

I need someone to test this, but I think ballast shift is only supported on the Pebble Steel.

Charlesml3 I can verify that both the Pebble Time and Pebble 2 models have the ballast shift option since I purchased one Pebble 2 and two Pebble Time watches. I loaded up since inventory is decreasing and availability tightening. I don't know about the Pebble Steel compatability

Gotcha. I couldn't remember if it was the "Time" or the "Steel" that added Ballast Shift.

                            Thanks!

I have the Steel and see ballast shift.

However, I could not get the watch to increase stereo volume. The only thing I could get it to do was change the NSS and songs.

That should work. Tapping the vol up/down should change the volume. Holding the Vol Up goes to the next song. Holding Vol Down send a pause.
