GS 20 Photos/Experience

How does the interior space of the GS20 compare with a 210? I really like the looks of the GS20, but was thinking of moving to a 230 next.

It feels much bigger than any 20' or 21' boat I have ever been in. The width really helps in that regard. There is a ton of storage in the boat too; well compared to my X1 it is a ton. I would say check one out in person when you get a chance, you will know right away if it has the space you are looking for. (If you are comparing to a 210, its a lot bigger on interior space, Joe can probably elaborate more since he owned a 210)

I am looking for a gently used 210 right now, so all you guys switching to GS20s...............keep me in mind.

Thanks for coming out Matt. I actually think that it is more roomy then my old 2011 210. My dad saw it today and said the same thing. My buddy Jeff said he might sell his G21 for this boat. Here are some slalom photos from this morning. First photo is at 28 off 31mph. Second photo is 15 off.

Looks like the river calmed down quite a bit. Fingers crossed everything works out for you.

Jeff is sold too huh? I think Nautique is going to move a lot of these things...

Really appreciate the feedback and reviews but would someone please take a video of some slalom and wake crossings lol. All these smartphone still pictures and no video are killing me. A 20 second video will answer a lot of questions.

Do you know which motor was in the boat you were skiing?

Base motor, the 6.0...

ZR4? I was pulled by the H5 and it felt like a dog pulling me up slaloming. I'm 6' 185. It seemed to pull the guy up in your video with no problem.

It was the stock motor. My dad is like 6'6" 185 and he said he might want the to upgrade the motor.

We took the GS20 out for a quick surf today. This picture is stock settings (11.2mph, 1850lbs ballast) and only the driver in the boat. I could surf really far back as there is tons of push just like a G21, just not quite as tall. I didn't have a good picture of the starboard wave, but there was just the smallest amount of wash at the top but would completely clean up with one person offset on the surf side. We added two 400lb bags in the back lockers, but just like the other G's, this boat does not like rear weight only and will need bow weight, but the wave was very big and clean once the bow bag was added.
My overall impression of the surf wave was very good and definitely better than a 210 stock vs stock.
