Correct Craft bought Pleasurecraft Engine Group a couple years ago.
They bought Centurion/Supreme as well. I wonder if he was thinking of that purchase.
Correct Craft currently owns the following companies:
Nautique Boat Company
Centurion
Supreme
Bass Cat
Yar-Craft
SeaArk
Aktion Parks (OWC and MWC)
Pleasurecraft Engine Group (PCM, Crusader, Levitator)
They also own a few other small companies (for real estate holdings, etc.).

Yeah, Correct Craft has owned Centurion and Supreme for a year or so. Haven't heard anything about CC acquiring Skiers Choice (Supra/Moomba).

Maybe your mechanic was thinking that because your dealer carries Moomba boats, that they were now a part of Correct Craft. There are a lot of dealers that carry more than one line of inboard boats, and Nautique doesn't build a budget inboard so it's sensible that your dealer would also carry Moomba. Go here - http://www.correctcraft.com/ and you'll see companies that are owned by Correct Craft - Nautique is a boat manufacturer under the Correct Craft umbrella just like Centurion and Yar-Craft, but no mention of Skiers Choice or Moomba.
Skiers Choice, which manufactures both Supra and Moomba is a privately held company. MasterCraft is a public company - not related at all, if you look at MasterCraft financials (MCBC or MCFT Nasdaq) there is no mention of holdings other than MasterCraft and it's branded subsidiaries. If you were lucky enough to be one of their institutional investors or one of the few private investors you would have received a special dividend of $4.30 per share a couple of months ago - apparently the boating recession is over.
"The MasterCraft product brand consists of recreational performance boats primarily used for water skiing, wakeboarding and wake surfing, and general recreational boating. The Company distributes the MasterCraft product brand through its dealer network.
