Will a Motorcraft FL1A replace the PCM RO77001?

If it's a gt 40 the fl1a is the right filter I know. There are also numerous other brands that will work the ford filter is definitely most common.

FL1A is what the remote filter on my Chevy PCM uses.

Thank you Quinner, I had heard that but wasn't sure. The PCM is only $10 on line but just in case I forget it when I go to the cottage I know the Motorcraft is everywhere.

Rossrips7, thanks fir the answer but it's a GM with the remote filter. PCM only lists 1 filter so I was guessing there's an easier replacement.

I'm doing impellers, separator and fuel filters but think I should've done it last year.

You probably know this but do be careful when changing oil filters, the old rubber gaskets have a tendency to not come off with the old filter, so always check the mating surface before installing the new filter.
