Took delivery of new to me 2014 SAN 230 yesterday. Boat was a dealer demo with 20 hours. Bought it in the fall. PCM 343. Took the boat our yesterday for the first run....cruised the lake for about 20-30 minutes. Filled the ballast tanks/bags and took about 10 minutes to play with the surf settings, etc. Was putting my wetsuit on to go surf while the boat was idling. RPMs dropped off to around 400 and boat started to sputter, etc. Putting it in drive wouldn't help, giving it throttle it wouldn't recover. Eventually it just stalled out. Called dealer who is several hours away. Checked sea water strainer, pretty clean. Shut boat down and batteries off, restarted. Ran great for another 20 min while surfing. Then did the exact same thing. RPMs drop off and eventually it just won't run and stalls. It was always as we were idling around. No error codes or warnings. Shut batteries down again and went back to the dock. Ran fine for the 3-4 mile trip back. Any ideas, suggestions as to what it could be? Dealer obviously will be working on it come Monday.
