Placed my order today and my dealer showed me a price raise that will go into effect on Nautique boats built after February. I can't remember the exact percent but it was around 1.5 percent. It didn't affect me because I slipped in under the cutoff. Just a friendly shoutout to anyone who is ordering a boat this year.

Hmm... Manufacturers set prices by model year usually on July 1. Sounds to me like it was a line to get you to hurry and commit. -

Last year, I submitted the deposit the first of January and got the boat March 23rd. It sounds like the demand is so strong for 2016 that they are backed up a lot more...and they can justify a mid year price increase. I guess it makes sense for a business to capture more profit if demand is that high.Comment

Glad I already signed an agreement on a price for mine which still hasn't actually been ordered yet. I didn't want to take delivery until Feb (which my dealer said he has a slot for a boat already allotted for a Feb build and that it will be mine) so he said he doesn't have to send in the build sheet till about January.Comment

It could be much worse, due to our falling canadian dollar boat prices have gone up 35% on average in the last year.Comment
