    2014 G25 Surf Wave

We have a 2014 Super Air Nautique G25 and the surf wave is not setting right now. All ballast are full, surf is on and the wave plate and surf vert are both at 5. When i take off it locks in at 10.9 mph but the surf gate is not activating. The computer is not telling it to deploy the gate. Is there a way to reset the wave or computer system?

    Thanks

    Connor

Ours does this often, just go to the main screen, hit the bottom right button that says surf and turn it on. Just like speed control, it's gray when off and white when on.

Do you just turn it on and then turn it back on to reset it?
From what i can remember I did have the surf on

With ours most of the time speed control and surf does not get turned on when using rider presets. So I just set the rider presets and while ballast is filling make sure speed control and NSS is turned on.

Awesome, Thank you very much. I will see if that resolves the issue.

The fact that everything should work when using rider presets is a different story. When I take it to the dealer this winter I will make sure they update the LINC software and all that because everything should work when using presets, but they don't.

Okay, I was unaware of software updates. Thats very cool. I will ensure they update the system for us. I have been having another issue and now that you say they can update the system it makes me think its the system that has a bug. Sometimes I will click my preset and it will show all ballast are full with 2850 pounds which is max. I will then surf a bit and it displays that some of the ballast are at half now. I think this is software related because when it shows they have dropped i see no change in the wave that is the reason i think it is software.

That's a complete different story there. True ballast level readings are only taken when LINC is booted up. Everything after that is based on fill and drain time. So we completely power the boat down, enter code and hit stop, a couple times a day to get a good reading.

Okay, so obviously my pumps are not pumping as fast as they should be if they are based on time?

Possibly, it's not a real exact science though. I would just run them until you see water coming out the side of the boat and drain them until you hear your pumps change sounds. It's real obvious when they are running dry.
