Fire extinguisher location

I have a 2004 196. My fire extinguisher has been rattling around in the trunk for awhile and I'm looking for a good place to mount it. I'm curious where others have mounted theirs. A search turned up a little information about where some of the 211 owners have mounted theirs but nothing for a 196. Any descriptions or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Mine came mounted under the clamshell passenger seat in the storage compartment. I moved it when I installed a subwoofer in that area. I mounted it to the floor on the right side of the drivers seat. There was just enough room between the seat base and the side console. Another reason I chose that location was due to a fish cop giving me crap during a safety inspection. He said that my fire extinguisher wasn't readily accessable under the clamshell seat. I figured you can't get any better than right next to the driver. Sorry I don't have any pictures.

Mine is mounted on the kickboard. Seems like a good location .....I hope never to find out if it's a good place or not.

2005 196. On the floor on the right side of the drivers seat. Out of the way but quickly accessible if needed.
