    Colour Balls-up

Ok, we ordered a san210 with Main Stripe Onyx, Secondary Stripe Vapour. This is what we got! We expected them the blue and the black to be opposite to what they are in the picture. Has anyone else had this experience? Does the picture match the order? i cant check cos the build a boat is not up on the cc website. We are in Australia and have waited since April for this boat, and are really disappointed, what can we do?

    RE: Colour Balls-up

You are correct in what you should have got... and that ain't it. I would be rather upset... Ok, no... I would be pissed. I am not sure what your recourse is other than to not accept it. If I were the dealership, I would find a way to make amends with a severe cost break in order for you to keep it. I do think it looks good, but it is not what you wanted.

Yea there was a guy on another forum that ordered a new malibu and they screwed up his order. In his case he took the wrong boat home and used it for free untill they delivered him the correct one. I would either try to do this or make them give you an awesome deal on the wrong boat.

Correct Craft does send a confirmation to the dealer on all the stats before they start the building process. I would check with your dealer and see if they confirmed the correct color scheme and go from there.

that really sucks.....for the price your paying, I would expect what you ordered. However, I do like that color scheme.

That boat looks sick! I'd keep it and see if they'll give you some price break or throw in some extras.

First off I agree that that boat looks sick I like it a lot but I also agree you didn't order that you should get what you want. You should think about how much you want the color combo you ordered and how much it means to you. If I were in you're shoes I wouldn't accept it make them build me a new boat and use this one meanwhile and get about 3,425 free T-Shirts and stickers. But that's because I'm a pickey ******* at times and what what I ordered. Some people on the other hand don't care too much about the color and would easily love to save the cash and keep the boat.

So think about what you want, and how much it means to you. But don't hesitate, in fact, I support you in being harsh and not holding back. Do whatever it takes to get what you wan't and don't feel compelled or embarrased to do what you need to do the dealer or CC. You paid 55K +International Costs (or so...) for a plain pizza and you got a mushroom pizza, make them make you a new pizza.

I would keep the color they sent and demand an additional percentage off. Not sure what would be fair, but start high. I promise it will perform the same. You will be much happier having got a sweet deal once the newness wears off. Besides, hopefully you will be in or behind it the majority of the time.

I can understand your dissapointment at CC apparently sending the wrong colorway.

But for me it would be the lack of tower and frigin windshield that would make me reject the whole **** thing !!!!

Guys its been a hectic couple of days, trying to sort out what avenues to take, but we appreciate your input. Bear in mind that this boat costs a lot more in Australia than what you guys pay in the US and 5 months is a long wait for the wrong boat. Whilst the boat is a striking boat it is not the boat we ordered. We have been informed that it was the manufacturers fault and not the dealers or the importers so we are pursuing the matter with them. With Correct Craft's track history for customer satisfaction i am confident we can sort out a solution acceptable to all parties involved.
