His surgery went well. Monday he was in the op room from 8-11am. One hour less than expected. At 11 pm he was off the respirator (sp) and the tube down his throat was removed. He's still in CCU. His O2 level without the help of an O2 mask is still lower than normal, 99 with/ 88 without, so he will have to stay there until it's at least 91 on his own. He's being a pain in the butt about doing his breatheing exercises, so it's taking longer, darn cigs. :x Anyway, I'm cautiously optimistic, but I'll reserve jumping up and down until he is home. Thank You ALL who posted a reply, said a prayer, or thought a good thought. If it's OK, I'll keep you posted. Trying to keep my head up. :grin: PLEASE keep the prayers coming!!
