      882001,

I see you are from Clear Lake. Is that the lake near NASA/Seabrook? I was just curious if all fared well for you during and after the storm. My wife was in Kemah 2 weekends before hurricane Rita to bring baby supplies for some families relocated to Houston from Katrina. I believe they went by Clear Lake to get there. Man - what a crazy weather month!!
PS - Even though I have a newer bigger boat, my favorite boat of all time is still a 1985 to 1989 2001 Nautique. I never get tired of looking at those. I would love to pick up an '86 Silver Nautique in good shape.
      Have a good one.

      Ken

I always find these type of threads very interesting. Everyone come from a different perspective when deciding on what type of boat to purchase. I am helping a friend decide on a new boat righ now. He is a hard core slalom skier and has an awesome 98 Ski Nautique. But, since I bought my 99 Sport....he's really struggled with not have the comfort that my boat has (space wise) and the versatility. So, now he's probably going to get a 2006 216.

I look at it this way....if there weren't a ton of differnent needs out there, then Correct Craft would only need to make ONE boat size and ONE boat type. Kind of a "one size fits all".
